At Respire, our Customer Service Representatives play a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely and accurate resupply of their medical equipment and supplies. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable handling high-volume communication while navigating insurance and medical documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and communications related to medical supply resupply orders
  • Manage and follow up on assigned resupply orders, ensuring completion within the calendar month
  • Educate patients on available resupply products and eligibility requirements
  • Accurately enter and process resupply orders in company systems
  • Verify prescriptions, documentation, and patient records prior to order fulfillment
  • Identify missing documentation and request patients contact healthcare providers as needed
  • Obtain supervisor approval when required medical supplies are involved
  • Verify and update patient insurance information
  • Explain patient financial responsibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay requirements
  • Collect outstanding balances and process payments when applicable
  • Provide professional, empathetic, and compliant customer service at all times
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior data entry experience
  • Strong typing and 10-key skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Work Environment
  • Office-based and/or remote setting
  • Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers
  • Largely sedentary role with occasional standing, walking, and reaching
